To the joy of many, Pierce Brosnan was back in Stockholm on 12th July 2018 for the gala premiere of Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again, the second movie based on the legacy of ABBA. The fifth actor to portray Ian Fleming's James Bond on film appeared to be well-liked in the Swedish capital and also participated in the press conference with other members of the film team.

The last time that Pierce Brosnan visited Stockholm was in conjunction with the gala premiere for the first Mamma Mia! film on 4th July 2008. That film grossed more money at the box-office than that year's James Bond film, Quantum of Solace, which proves ABBA's continued strong popularity around the world.
