FSWL contributor Steven Jay Rubin remembers Curt Jürgens, Karl Stromberg in the 1977 Bond film The Spy Who Loved Me, who was born on 13 December 1915. Karl Stromberg was created specifically for the film by screenwriter Christopher Wood. In Wood's novelization of the film, Stromberg is Swedish, and his first name is Sigmund.
