James Bond artwork: The name is Kennedy. Graham Kennedy.

Over the years, James Bond has appeared in various artworks around the world. In the 1990’s, Jeffery Marshall created some amazing pieces from Dr. No (1962) to Licence to Kill (1989) (1989). These were officially licensed and produced by Daleon Enterprises in America. American artist Jeff Marshall was commissioned to paint each one, with print runs limited to between 300 and 1500 worldwide.

Graham Kennedy have been a professional illustrator for 20 years, working mainly in publishing. He has a big passion for movie poster art, particularly from the 1960's, 1970's, and the 1980's. He laments the fact that illustration has been dropped in favour of Photoshop images when it comes to creating artwork for movie posters.

The great Drew Struzan, perhaps the greatest exponent of movie poster illustration ever, has been a huge influence and inspiration for Graham.

German poster collector Thomas Nixdorf, who commissioned these artworks, had the idea to make it 'racier' than the usual Bond image. Hence the girls' exceptionally skimpy costumes, or lack of them!
