James Bond film actors and behind the scenes crew

This section of FSWL is kind of personal as it features photos and stories from meeting and talking to the people who have contributed to the success of the James Bond 007 phenomenon. In most cases very friendly and down-to-earth people. Currently 298 names listed.

The list consist of actors, actresses, assistant directors, camera operators, cinematographers, composers, costume designers, directors, editors, executive producers, location managers, lyrics writers, marketing executives, music artists, production assistants, production controllers, production designers, production managers, production secretaries, publicists, script supervisors, screenwriters, special effects wizards, stunt coordinators and several stuntmen.

The section also includes meetings with official James Bond authors.

MAUD ADAMS
Andrea Anders in THE MAN WITH THE GOLDEN GUN 1974 and Octopussy in OCTOPUSSY 1983

Maud Adams is very special to me as she is Swedish and Sweden are very proud of her and the contribution she has given to the Bond film franchise.

It is always a pleasure to see Maud. She is now a professional business woman but still finds time to see her fans at conventions and collector shows.

I have been lucky to see her at five occasions:
- The first time in Northampton back in May 2002
- A second time at 'An evening with the Bond women' in London in Nov 2002
- A third time at the premiere of Die Another Day (2002), which itself is a very good memory as she was there along with many other old and new Bond film related celebrities
- A forth time in July 2006 at Pinewood Studios
- A fifth time in Sep 2006 at Kempton Park race course outside London

Every time is a renewed pleasure as she is always very kind and friendly towards me.
She looks absolutely gorgeous and still has the looks to be a Bond girl yet another time.

For Swedish visitors it is worth knowing about the popularity of Swedish Bond women in England. Maud, Britt Ekland, and recently Mary Stavin, have always been among the most popular Bond guests at the UK collector shows that I have attended and I guess that is because they are not English and considered very exotic except being very beautiful of course! Not surprisingly, the organisers usually like them as well.
