Tom So (Actor)

The first time I met the multi-talented Tom So was at an event in Milton Keynes in May 2007. He was a great guest and is really friendly human being in real life.
Tom came to acting late in life, after a career in IT and modelling.
Tom needed a new occupation when the British IT industry floundered a few years ago. Friends suggested modelling because of his distinctive look, and he joined several agencies.
This led to work as an extra in film and television and he has recently worked on such films as Harry Potter, The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy (2005), Stormbreaker (2006), Children of Men (2006), Notes on a Scandal (2006), and Stardust (2007). He also played The Chinese man in Burlesque Fairytales (2010).
His most famous part to date is "Fukutu", one of the players in the big casino scene, in the excellent James Bond film Casino Royale (2006). (FSWL rates it in the top five of all 007 films.)
He has been a practicing Taoist for over ten years, seeking balance in all things.
