AUTOGRAPHICA 8 The 8th edition of AUTOGRAPHICA ‘The world’s largest autograph show’ was held on 3-4 June 2006 and for the 2nd time took place at the Radisson Edwardian Hotel next to Heathrow Airport.
Guests from the Bond films included Blanche (“Dolly” in MOONRAKER) Ravalec, Honor (“Pussy Galore” from GOLDFINGER) Blackman, Richard (“Jaws” from THE SPY WHO LOVED ME and MOONRAKER) Kiel, Trina (“Thumper” from DIAMONDS ARE FOREVER) Parks, veteran Bond stunt man and coordinator Paul Weston, stunt man on YOU ONLY LIVE TWICE Mickey Baker and David Decio from DIE ANOTHER DAY and CASINO ROYALE.
The event included a dinner on the evening of Saturday, 3rd June 2006 where fans were treated to sit next to a randomly selected celebrity guest throughout the course of the meal.
The event was very well arranged thanks to the efforts of organizer, Garry King and his team. The only ‘bad’ thing that may be remembered is the fact that passengers travelling with London Underground experience a horrible time as it took almost 4 hours to travel from the city of London to the airport.

NEVER UNDER ESTIMATE DR GOODHEAD I have been at the Autographica convention in Northampton twice, in 2002 and 2003.
I have been fortunate to meet and chat with quite many, very friendly, Bond celebrities at those occasions.
These included:
- 'The long man with the scary teeth' i.e. Richard Kiel
- Eunice Gayson
- Shane Rimmer
- The lovely and most friendly Valerie Leon
- The adorable 'helicopter woman' Caroline Munro
- My Swedish colleague and twice a Bond girl, Maud Adams
- 'Mr Bond himself' alias George Lazenby
- Madeline Smith
- And last, but certainly my most memorable meeting with the secret love of mine' a.k.a. Dr Goodhead alias Lois Chiles.
Mrs Chiles really made me feel like in heaven…
Worth mentioning here may also be other 'Bond related' such as the gorgeous and multiple language speaking Miss October 1994 from Playboy, Victoria Zdrok, from Raymond Bensons Playboy episode 'A midsummer nights doom'. Others have included Antonio Banderas mother in law, i.e. Melanie Griffith’s mother, Tippi Hedren. Mrs Hedren appeared alongside a certain Sir Sean Connery in Alfred Hitchcock's 'Marnie' in 1964.
