James Bond artwork: The name is Lorenz. Peter Lorenz.

Veteran Bond collector Peter Lorenz (the man behind the Illustrated 007 website), specialising in books and artworks, has taken his hobby a step further by creating personal artworks based on some of the greatest posters for the James Bond films, particularly the ones from the 1960's. Peter is one of them who laments the fact that illustration has been dropped in favour of Photoshop images when it comes to creating artwork for movie posters.

Two the the greatest American artists, Robert McGinnis and Frank McCarthy, have been (and still is!) a huge influence and inspiration for Peter in his work.

From Sweden with Love is happy to feature some of Peter's James Bond artworks. Below are some samples of his works:
