In November 2009 I was lucky to spend one week in the Bahamas (New Providence Island), where we stayed at One and Only Ocean Club, and then one week in Miami with my dear friend Jonas Pettersson who once again joined me for a Bond adventure. (We previously visited Corfu together in the summer of 2000.)

A detailed article with several photos will follow in due time.

Until then, here are all the places we visited in the Bahamas during our week there. These have been used as filming locations for several Bond movies over the years with Sean Connery and Daniel Craig as James Bond.

James Bond locations used on New Providence and Paradise islands in the Bahamas include: (all visited by yours truly)

• Albany House (used for the filming of Casino Royale in 2006)
• Atlantis (Thunderball (1965) and Casino Royale)
• Bay Street, Nassau (Thunderball)
• Breakwater, North Shore, Paradise Island (Thunderball)
• British Colonial Hilton (Never Say Never Again)
• Buena Vista Restaurant
• Compass Point Beach Resort (Casino Royale)
• Love Beach (Thunderball)
• Nassau Airport
• Nassau Dock, Nassau Harbour
• Paradise Island
• One and Only Ocean Club
• Rock Point ("Palmyra" in Thunderball)
• The Straw Market, Nassau (Thunderball)
• Stuart Cove's (Never Say Never Again)
(Another Bond actor, Pierce Brosnan, also used this island as location when he filmed After the Sunset in 2004.)
